Feng Shui in 10 Simple Lessons Reviews
Jane Butler-Biggs has a global grasp of Feng Shui that other writers lack. Prior to reading her books, I was baffled about conflicting advice, and rules in the spirit of "never do this" or "always do this" that were not explained to my satisfaction. From Jane Butler-Biggs I learned that Feng Shui has evolved: from the original Form School, to the innovative Compass School, to today's Intuitive School. (Hence the seemingly contradictory advice.) Jane Butler-Biggs writes in the spirit of SHARING the know, so that anyone may learn how to use Feng Shui to support his or her ever-changing needs.
This is a really good book on feng shui, especially if you are new to feng shui or just want a simple, basic book. The best part of this book is the very detailed charts, graphics and pictures, since they don't leave you confused like some poorly drawn diagrams might. The language is simple and easy to read.
I have several Feng Shui books and this is by far the best organized of them. The author's writing style is upbeat, contemporary, fresh and vibrant- just like the lovely illustrations that are so amply provided. It sets out out the concepts in the clearest and most accessible way I have seen. As interested as I am in the subject, most of the books I've seen can put me to sleep- you have to work hard to get through them. This achieves a tough goal- giving clarity to a complex subject with many overlapping and potentially confusing, or even contradictary, elements.
I received this book as a Christmas present and found it quite interesting, since this is the first time I'm reading about Feng Shui. The drawings, illustrations, and photographs found on practically every page are very well done.
This is one of my favorite feng shui book. The graphic are execellent and easy to understand and very practical.
I loved this book! I recently recieved it as a gift and I am hooked. It makes the basics of feng shui very easy to understand. I recommend to those who are just starting out and those that are already know what's up.
One of the several Feng Shui books I bought. Just clean up your home and arrange it as you like. I don't like all this condemnation. If you don't do this or that bad things will happen to you. I think it's a load of nonsense and something to make money off of. The constant threatening of Feng Shui to begin with seems evil to me. Keep away from it.
