Same book as
This book was well written and a page Turner! Couldn't put it down! A top 10 of my favorites.
A great man of achievement as well as a great author I highly recommend this book aka(the kid who climbed everest) i also recommend Bears other books he is honest clear, and his adventures are amazing to anyone who loves the wilderness. this books gives a much greater understanding and respect for what it takes to climb the worlds highest peak.
It makes you understand the real meaning of taking small steps while achieving big tasks through the experience of climbing Mt Everst. And I am inspired by the way Bear Grylls describes the Mt Everst each time he sees the peak on his journey
Great story told (I believe) like the way it really is up on top.
So many books have been written about climbing Everest its hard now for any author to stand out.
I have read many books re Everest and I have recently trekked to base camp. The description is so real to me I felt like I climbed every stepped with him even if I did not climb the mountain myself. Ten out of ten. Bravo!
Excellent account of one young man's journey not only to the top of Everest but throughout his life to the point of his successful summit. Love reading stories about mountaineering and this autobiography does not disappoint.
